Brennan Thomas Ruley, was born August 20, 1982, and returned home to Heaven on July 15, 2021, at the age of 38. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lauren Ruley, his father Gary Ruley, his mother Debbie Ruley Barnard and stepfather Roy Barnard, and his siblings, Melissa Ruley Bridges and Blake Ruley, nieces and nephews Parker Bridges, Peyton and Madeline Eaton, Nora and Scottie Granberry. He is also survived by the many friends and family members who knew and loved him during his time on earth.

Brennan was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He grew up in the hills of Northwest Austin, on Spicewood Springs Road. He spent a lot of his youth enjoying the outdoors and cliffs and caves near Bull Creek across from his childhood home. After high school, he took an Amtrak to California and fell in love with the mountains and oceans and developed a love of traveling around the country. He graduated from Northwest Lineman College in Oroville, CA and went on to pursue his career as a lineman. He spent a year in Puerto Rico after the devastation from the hurricane. Brennan married his high school sweetheart and best friend, together they traveled the country for his career. He enjoyed hunting and collecting antique guns.

Brennan is in the loving arms of our Lord and is happy and healthy again. He is missed immensely and every single day he will be remembered, loved, and missed by his many, many long-lasting friends from his youth, and career. His family and loved ones will hold him tight in their hearts, and we cannot wait until we see him again. He was a loving husband, and he loved his family dearly.
