Jeannie was predeceased by her parents, Col. Harry Lane and Myrtle Lane, along with her two sisters, Patricia Baker and Mikel Warner.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Dean Geuras. Jeannie will be lovingly remembered by her niece, Jackie Thompson, along with her four children, Stephanie Miller, Adam Thompson, Joshua Lee, and Talon Watkins. Jeannie was known as "Auntie" to Jackie's children and grandchildren.
Jeannie will also be remembered by her nephews Patrick and Corbett Baker, extended family in Oregon, and many close friends that loved her dearly. Jeannie graduated from Belton High School and the University of Texas. Jeannie spent many years working for K-Mart as an apparel manager and PPD, a pharmaceutical research company.
Jeannie's father, Col. Harry Lane was in the 10th Mountain Division, where Jeannie served as President and Treasurer of their annual reunion. For her service to the 10th Mountain Division, Jeannie was given the honor of Arkansas Traveler by the Governor of Arkansas.
Jeannie enjoyed traveling and entertaining with her husband Dean and adored her pets. She also enjoyed walking as a form of exercise and was known as the "Queen of the Walk" at the Brodie Lane Barnes and Noble Bookstore. She won this title by logging two million steps on her fitness tracker.
Anyone who was blessed with Jeannie in their lives will remember her kindness, beautiful smile, and quick wit. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
