Obituary
George "Stanley" Allman passed away from Covid 19 on January 10th, 2021, at the age of 77 in Llano, Texas. Stanley was born on December 23rd, 1943 in Austin Texas to George Monroe Allman and Sammie Whatley Allman. Stanley graduated from McCallum high school in Austin Texas in 1962 where he played football and baseball. Stanley worked in downtown Austin as a parking lot manager, in Pflugerville as a convenience store manager, and for the Ben Hur Shriners Temple as a custodian. Stanley lived in Austin Texas and Llano Texas. Stanley was an avid deer hunter for most of his life with over 60 sets of mounted antlers. Stanley was also a huge sports fan, for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and most of all, the Baylor Bears. Stanley is survived by his sisters Kay Allman Lathem and Melba Allman Mabry, his son Donald Lawrence Allman and daughter in law Neva Pelt Allman, ten nieces and nephews, grandchildren Doug Allman, Ashley Allman and David Allman, and great grandchildren Chloe Allman and Daphne Allman. Stanley was predeceased by his parents George and Sammie, and his sister Johnnie. A grave site service will be at Capital Memorial Park in Pflugerville, TX on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
