Sandra was born June 3, 1963 in Ada, Minnesota to Mario Z. Escamilla and Irma M. Escamilla. She grew up with six siblings and moved to Crystal City, Texas with her family as a young girl. She graduated from Crystal City high school, attended college in Uvalde, and then moved to Austin. Sandra held many titles, she was a manager, a jeweler, a stand in mother, a dear aunt, a beloved sister, a loving daughter, a loyal friend, she was even a birthing coach, and a god mother. Although she had no biological children she loved all of her nieces and nephews like her own. Sandra had a heart of gold and was known for her contagious smile. She was so thoughtful, honest, trustworthy, patient, loving, kind, and giving. Her outpouring generosity will never be forgotten.
She was proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents Filemon and Anastacia Escamilla and maternal grandparents Simon Martinez and Paula Cervantez. She is survived by her father Mario Z. Escamilla and mother Irma M. Escamilla. Brothers Mario A. Escamilla (Diane), Jerry Escamilla, Fernando Escamilla, Sisters Chriszelda (Eusebio), Sonia E. Garcia (Richard), Nora E. Perez and Niece (daughter) Alisandra Perez. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Eusebio Juan Rodriguez, Mark Escamilla, Michael Escamilla (Megan), Mathew Escamilla, Makaily Escamilla, Jennifer Escamilla, Miliana Escamilla, Roberto Rodriguez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Madelin Escamilla, Reynando Escamilla (and their mother) Cristina Lopez
