Fred has been our neighbor for years & the best around. Full of his own little sayings yet likable in many ways. Gonna miss that waving hand from across the way. Our thoughts & prayers are with Ona & the family.

I am proud to have met Fred and called him my friend. He had a big heart and bigger personality. Always made the Cajun gatherings and livened the party. Diane and I loved him for being outspoken and funny. Prayers and peace be with his family and friends at this time.

Fred was one of a kind...Gruff exterior but, a very gentle and caring soul. I am grateful I got to know him and happy that I got to call him friend. I always looked forward to seeing him during the many golf outings with the Cajun tour and social outings that we were part of. He will be missed by family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Fred had a bright mind and a quick wit. It was fascinating to hear him talk about the places he had been and worked. We will miss him a great deal.

Proud to say that Fred was a friend and fellow golfer on the Cajun Tour. Can remember meeting at the Buda Grocery for cheese burgers and cold ones. Fred could always be counted on to give a straight shooting opinion on everything and anything which in this day and age is a positive. We will all miss you our prayers go out to Fred, Ona and family as he enters the Kingdom of Heaven
