- Joe Spiser, age 66 of Dripping Springs, died February 19, 2010. He was born July 10, 1943.
Joe attended public schools in Eden, Texas and graduated from Eden High School where he participated in football, baseball, basketball and track. After high school, he attended Angelo State University. He was a conservationist and loved being outdoors. Joe's hobbies included hunting, fishing, restoring old tractors and especially going places with his children and grandchildren. He knew every back road in the State and had a story to tell about each one.
Survivors are his wife, Diana; daughter, Christine McCreary and husband James, daughter, Hayley McCreary and son, Jacob; daughter, Jennifer Price and husband Jeremy, daughter, Reagan Price and son, Jackson; brother, Bob Spiser and wife Sharon; sister, Sandra Briggs,. as well as numerous nephews and extended family.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,February 24, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, Tx 78745.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joe's name to the American Heart Association.
