- Marie Boswell passed away peacefully on Feb 6, 2010, with her loving family at her side.
Marie was born to John H. Clark and Ruth Murray Clark on Oct. 21, 1916, in Wooten Wells, Texas. She met George L. Boswell in Lampasas where they were married on Oct. 22, 1932. Five children were born to this union. They moved to Austin in 1946 after George was discharged from the Navy where they made their home.
She is preceded in death by her husband George of 69 years, one brother, two sisters, son Louis Boswell, grandsons George & Jimmy and great-granddaughter Tara DeAnn.
Marie is survived by daughter Mary & husband Brodie Beard and children Ted, Allison & Kevin Wall, Sara & Jason Morris and Anne Marie; son William Boswell and children Charles & Eddie; daughter-in-law Shirley Boswell and children Elizabeth Boswell. Michael Boswell & fiancée Barbara and children Mike and Blake; Roxann & Henry Montemayor and children Sabrinah. Adam Cain, Chris and Kevin; daughter Martha Hodge and children Mitzi & Neil Jacobson; Jerry Inge; Molly Black; Butch DeCote; granddaughter Dawn Marie Pohlman; George and Johnathan Boswell, Shirley and Ray Miller; fourteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and four great/great/grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Michael Boswell, Henry Montemayor, Kevin Wall, Jason Morris, Charles & Eddie Boswell; Ted Beard; George & Johnathan Boswell; Michael II and Blake Boswell; W. E. Childers; Tony Cunniff; Adam Cain Boswell; Chris & Kevin Montemayor.
Rosary will be at 6:30 Tuesday 2/9/10 followed by visitation at Harrell Funeral Home at 4435 Frontier Trail. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wed 2/10/10 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church at 2309 Euclid Avenue with burial at Assumption Cemetery.
